Aubrey Calderwood
Aubrey has over 20 years experience in property taxation and set up and ran the capital allowances practice of a "Big 4" accountancy firm before establishing Capitus with Kevin in 1997.Aubrey has hands-on involvement with all aspects of the Capitus business. In particular he was responsible for establishing the Regeneration & Sustainability practice within Capitus and oversees all elements on the services offered.
He has particular experience of the Enhanced Capital Allowance (ECA) regime and advises on issues such as CHPQA certification on Combined Heat & Power Plants and using ECAs to encourage energy-efficient building and the adoption of “Green Leases”.

Kevin Meyer
Kevin established Capitus with Aubrey in 1997 and as a Chartered Surveyor has over 20 years experience in property taxation.Like Aubrey, Kevin jointly oversees all aspects of the Regeneration & Sustainability practice. He has particular experience of Land Remediation Relief, Business Premises Renovation Allowances and Flat Conversion Allowances having acted on a number of large projects throughout the UK.

Russell Gwilliam
Russell joined Capitus in 2009 and has more than ten years experience of property taxation and regeneration incentives. He is part of the Land Remediation Relief team which he runs along with Kevin Meyer and Caroline Salters. He also has extensive experience of contaminated land on large scale development projects such as the redevelopment of Bath City Centre.

Caroline Salters
Caroline joined Capitus in 2005 and is a highly competent capital allowances consultant. She holds a BSc (Hons) in Building Surveying and obtained the PRINCE2 Practitioner qualification which she applies to the running and managing of large projects.She is part of the Land Remediation Relief team along with Russell Gwilliam and Kevin Meyer and has particular experience of the residential house building sector and LRR relating to
these projects.

Andrew Reid
Andrew is a Chartered Accountant and joined Capitus in 2009 from PricewaterhouseCoopers.He is responsible for providing accountancy support in respect of our Regeneration and Sustainability practice and also heads up our Research & Development Tax Relief practice.
Andrew is also responsible for keeping us and our clients informed of any relevant developments in accountancy and taxation relating to Regeneration and Sustainability and also provides practical input in any technical issues arising out of submissions made to HMRC on our clients’ behalf.

Stacey Ferguson
Stacey joined Capitus in 2001. She holds a degree in Estate Management from Heriot-Watt and was the first woman in Northern Ireland to become a Chartered Surveyor via the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors taxation route to qualification.Stacey is an accomplished capital allowances consultant and has huge experience in the computation and management of capital allowances claims on behalf of multi-property institutional investors.
Stacey is also a qualified Commercial Energy Assessor where she works alongside Darren Timmis producing Energy Performance Certificates and Display Energy Certificates.

Darren Timmis
Darren joined Capitus in 2007 as a capital allowances analyst. Since joining, Darren has been engaged on a variety of interesting projects and has particular experience of car dealerships and serviced offices and apartments.He is also a qualified Commercial Energy Assessor and works alongside Stacey Ferguson in preparing Energy Performance Certificates and Display Energy Certificates.
